2016 was the 11th season for Boston Midsummer Opera, and my fourth season as the Production Manager. We produce one opera every summer - this season was a double header: Il Campanello and L'Amico Fritz by Gaetano Donizetti and Pietro Mascagni, respectively.  Pre-production begins a year prior and our Company travels from across the globe to join us every July.  This season was our first producing at the Arsenal Center for the Arts in Watertown, MA.

As the Production Manager, my primary duties include realizing the vision of the Stage Director and Conductor for each opera; supervising all Design and Production departments; managing the season budget; hiring and contracting all employees; and ensuring a smooth and successful production process from inception through closing night.
